We visted the location in Rocky Point, as we needed a place to eat, after touring the vineyards, out east. A recomendation from someone at the Martha Clara vineyard, and we were off. To our surprise, great food, great atmosphere, and certainly great prices. Will be visiting the Islip location quite soon. Karen, our waitress, was terrific. Keep up the great food comin' |

Friday night we had dinner at J&R's in Calverton. There were 14 of us, including children. Our waitress, Victoria, was awesome - patient, professional,helpful-overall great. That said, our meal was great - everyone was happy and we had a wonderful time. |

We visited the Medford location for lunch....
Had a great experience! Our waiter Mario was the best. He was very interested in explaining the different German Beers. The meal was REALLY good! My mom hasnt been to a J&Rs for a while, so it was nice for her(we used to go to Stony Brook)
When we were almost finished, our poor waiter was confronted with some picky(& cheap)customers, and handled it gracefully and professionally, so this review is basically is first about the service we had, and then the food! |
