I've been to Pace's Steakhouse spend a hell of alot more.J&R'S steaks are much better tasting,at a much lower price.WE live in Mt.Sinai my wife and I like to travel around.Been to the newer Islip location,yes it is extremely noisy.The service and the food was as great as all locations.In the past 3 years been to calverton,Rocky Point,Medford,Patchogue and Islip.The great thing is that all locations are equally great,food and service.Our favorite location is Calverton due to the ambience and high ceilings , amore rustic feel.We go to a J&R's at least 2 to 3 times a month.We to dine at many other restaurant's between Suffolk and Nassau, but hands down J&R's Steakhouse is in my opinion the best restaurant on Long Island. |

While we had to wait a bit for a table for three (we called ahead and were told you don't take reservations)the food and service were both excellent. Looking forward to next visit. |
